Need some support getting through from Winter to Spring?
A 6 week course providing you with a supportive nourishing space during these winter months in which you can connect with others and start to make those changes in your lifestyle that you need to make to keep yourself afloat. Sometimes, however strong our intentions, it can be hard to motivate ourselves on our own and our group will provide you with the accountability you may need so you don’t feel alone. The pressure to keep going over this past year has been felt by us all, and we are having to dig deeper each month to keep our resilience up.
For 6 weeks, we will meet as a small group online (Max 8 people).
We will have a Facebook group to aid your support and connection with each other.
Two options available. Monday Mornings starting 1st Feb – 9am -11am and Thursday evenings starting 5th February 5-7pm.
Each week I will hold a space in which you can share how you are managing, offer support to one another and reflect on our learnings. There will be a different theme each week and we will focus on ways that we can holistically increase our wellbeing. Each session will build upon the one before and there is an expectation for you to commit to ongoing work in the form of journal writing and some exercises in between sessions.
These sessions will be held over over Zoom and for those of you unable to make any of the live events, they will also be recorded. I’ll share with you the ways I have learnt to manage my own changes in mood, as well as facilitating the space for you to support each other. By the end of the course you’ll have a greater knowledge of how to regulate your moods and will have put in place some changes to your lifestyle which will support you going forwards into spring.
I am an experienced Therapist who has helped many people manage their low moods and anxiety over the last 10 years. I facilitated a similar “Mood Course” at Brighton Therapy Centre, in which groups of 10 people came together in person weekly for support. I experienced periods of depression myself in the past and am continually making changes to my lifestyle in order to keep my mental health in check.
This course is not Group Therapy and you will be required to take responsibility for your own wellbeing.
This course is for you if you are feeling alone at times and seeking connection with others in a supportive environment. You will be learn ways to manage your emotions so you feel less overwhelmed and you will start to make the changes to your lifestyle that you need to improve your wellbeing.

Week 3 – Movement
Week 4 – Nutrition
Week 5 – Self-Compassion
Week 6 – Social Connection – Endings.
